01 Feb February 1, 2015 – Carragher Chronicles
We would like to start by thanking the Lord and you for your faithful support and wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. You are among the Lord’s greatest gifts for our family. Your sacrificial giving is a godly example for all to follow.
“Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart…” ~Psalm 111:1
We’re thankful to send a report full of praise for what the Lord is doing with our ministry to the military. Our Savior has heard your prayers and answered them in a powerful way. During the last few months we have seen souls saved, veterans loosed from the grip of PTSD, new missionary candidates and our hearts greatly encouraged. We are energized!
For fifteen saved.
For reports from local churches with over 100 new people using the ‘Wounded Spirits’ book. Many saved with one saved on the day he was planning to kill himself.
For three new missionary candidates.
For the scheduling of seven PTSD training sessions for 2015.
Debbie’s stomach problems have begun to subside and she is having more good days than bad.
Pray for Christ to have the preeminence in all we do and to continue to save souls through our ministry.
Pray for Debbie who will have double hip replacement surgery on November 20th. After 15 years of extreme pain, shots, experimental treatments and therapy, her orthopedic doctor informed her she has no other option.
Pray for PTSD training/camps in January and in June. Specifically, for people to attend who will volunteer to lead studies, for people suffering from PTSD and for $11,000.00 in needed funds. Pray the Lord will prompt His people to provide the funding.
For my sisters, Debra’s and Francine’s health and salvation.
For our family’s health and walk with the Lord.
For a new computer. Mine has crashed twice since our last prayer letter.
Thanks again for your love and support. We pray your Christmas will be enjoyed with good health and family.
Thank you for the honor of being your servants to our military heroes,
Doug and Debbie Carragher
