Doctrinal Statement

We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration, and the infallibility of the Scripture (I Pet. 1:19-21; II Tim. 3:15-17).

We believe that the Word of God has been divinely preserved without contradiction or error (Ps. 12:6-7, 138:2, Matt. 25:18, John 12:48), and is the authority for Christian faith and conduct. The King James Bible (Authorized Version) is the official translation of the Bible to be used publicly by AFBM missionaries in English speaking ministries.

We believe that there is only one true living God, existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Deity, Virgin Birth, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We believe that salvation is “by grace”, plus nothing; minus nothing.

We believe in the vicarious suffering, blood atonement and death of Jesus Christ for all humanity.

We believe in Eternal Salvation; once saved, always saved.

We believe in the local church as the only means to carry on the primary work of God.

We believe in the Pre-millennial return of Christ and in the Rapture of the Church.

We believe in the Judgment Seat of Christ for believers which gives an account of our service to Christ and not for the judgment of our sins. Furthermore, we believe there will be a judgment of the lost at the Great White Throne.

We believe in Ecclesiastical Separation. Under no circumstances will we have fellowship with those who deny the Scripture, deny the person or the work of Christ, those who are not similar in faith or those who compromise.

We believe in two church ordinances: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
