David is thrilled that the Lord has guided him to work with Armed Forces Baptist Missions. He is passionate about the many wonderful opportunities that God has in store for him. As an Army war veteran who has ministered to troops in multiple units, he knows the need for biblical God-centered counseling and ministry. By means of this experience and other training David has received, he will be working with veterans and their families on how to victoriously deal with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and other struggles veterans face.

David was led to Christ through the continuous efforts of a faithful bus captain. At the young age of twelve, God called him to preach. As a teenager he began to share the gospel with others, and has since done so in numerous ministries in multiple locations. While still in high school he joined the Army, and shortly thereafter deployed to Iraq. While in Iraq, he saw the effects of war to include many wounded service members. From these experiences and the Lord’s working in his heart, he surrendered to God and began to preach and lead in bible studies on a regular basis. While David was in Iraq, The Lord very clearly led him to a specific Bible college. He has since graduated from that college with his Bachelor’s, and is continuing on with a Master’s degree, which he plans to finish. David is passionate about bringing our nation’s service members, who have sacrificed greatly, to our wonderful Lord, who has sacrificed completely.
