STEVE AND LUCINDA MARTINEZ

Steve and Lucinda are serving with Armed Forces Baptist Missions reaching both active duty military and veterans. They surrendered to missions in 1995. Steve is a Vietnam veteran who received the Purple Heart and other medals and awards for his service there. He and Lucinda have a burden to reach our military and veterans for Christ. After serving with another board for several years, they joined with AFBM in 2007.

Steve and Lucinda have started and directed serviceman center outreaches in cooperation with local churches in Northern Virginia near Quantico Marine Base and near Fort Gordon Army Base in GA.

Currently they transport soldiers to church every week, as well as reaching out to our veterans through preaching services held regularly at the local veteran’s home. They also conduct small group Bible studies on the base and for veterans weekly. They are deeply involved in the Wounded Spirits PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) outreach of AFBM. Over their years of service to the Lord, Steve and Lucinda have been privileged to see hundreds come to know Christ as Savior. Their desire is to continue reaching our military and veterans with hope and help through the Gospel of salvation, locally and where ever the Lord directs.

God calls AFBM missionaries to serve in unique ways around the globe. Maybe He is calling you to have a special role in Steve and Lucinda’s ministry to our heroes. Please pray about partnering with them through prayer and/or financial support.
