Never have our military heroes had to do so much with so few resources. Our nation pays over one billion dollars a day to care for our troops. The United States meets their physical and mental needs better than any other nation. Unfortunately, no one is caring for their spiritual needs.
More than ever, we see that no segment of society is more overlooked for missions than our military. At AFBM, we spend our days involved with military missions. Since 1964, AFBM has been ministering to our military and to our veterans. That is all we do.
Our Heroes Need a Savior
Most importantly, we realize our heroes need of a Savior, and what a Savior we have to introduce to them! God has honored our service allowing us to lead many to the saving grace of Christ. Our church plants exist as spiritual aid stations for lost sinners desperately in need of Christ.
Additionally, we do basic training for soul winners and Bible teachers. We encourage those who are trained, supply them with Bibles and tracts, and point them off to do spiritual combat. The work of the evangelist is incomplete until the evangelized is evangelizing others.
AFBM is on a worldwide quest for the souls of men and women in uniform and their families. We continually seek to assist laborers to sow the seed of the gospel at their place of duty, at a local veterans hospital, or in their community.
We need supporting churches for missionaries on deputation. We can provide missionaries and preachers for revivals and missions conferences.
We need home office supporters. AFBM is a faith based ministry that does not require payment for transition fees or office expenses. We look to God to provide the need through His people.
We need laborers. We continually seek additional laborers to sow the seed of the Gospel of Christ in these fields that are ripe unto harvest. Great opportunities lie ahead for godly men and women who have a heart for the military and who have been called to serve our Lord in the military mission fields. Perhaps God is calling you to serve Him in a ministry such as ours.
We need prayer warriors. James 5:16 says, “…the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Please pray for Christ to have the preeminence in our ministry.
We need Bibles and tracts. Every month through the generosity of God’s people we ship Bibles and tracts around the world to our military heroes.

By God’s grace, we continue to experience growth.
Supporters have more than tripled.
The Lord has used all of you to provide thousands of military issue New Testaments for our heroes. Each Bible has a black cover with the service member’s branch of service stamped in gold on the cover and a letter from a general sharing the need for Christ.
God has allowed us to pass out 75,000 tracts in Iraq and Afghanistan. At one point, every soldier processed into Iraq received a “God Bless the USA” tract.
In the last few years we have planted five new churches and service centers.
We have assisted more than 300 soldiers in locating good independent fundamental Baptist churches as they return to the states or change duty stations.
Through our shared ministry, God has given the increase almost daily around the world.
